Styling Recipe : A touch of Leopard

I'm absolutely obsessed with leopard accents. They make a room look more luxurious, glamorous & stylish. Add a touch of leopard in your home and don't forget : too many accessories of the same theme are an overkill. I'll share with you a few leopard elements you could add to your apartment in order to complete the perfect styling recipe.

A leopard chair in a romantic vintage room will give a touch of glam in your space.

Two bold leopard armchairs in a total white living room . Absolutely perfect.

A leopard rug in the bedroom.

A home office with a hint of leopard. Love it!

DIY Monday : IKEA Plant pots turned into Pendants

We all love IKEA and we love the blog IKEA Hackers even more. This time they shared a lovely DIY lighting project. Erik Maki from  the var-dugs-rum.blogspot.com blog turned the SKURAR plant pot (it costs only $2.99) into a romantic pendant! Check out the instructions (you'll have to use Google Translate) here

Όλοι αγαπάμε το ΙΚΕΑ , αλλά νομίζω αγαπάμε το blog IKEA hackers λίγο περισσότερο. Ο λόγος είναι απλός: μας δίνει ιδέες για να μετατρέψουμε τις αγορές μας από το IKEA σε κάτι πιο προσωπικό, πιο ιδιαίτερο. Αυτή τη φορά ο Erik Maki από το blog var-dugs-rum.blogspot.com μοιράστηκε ένα πολύ εύκολο και εντυπωσιακό DIY project. Αγόρασε τα λευκά SKURAR γλαστράκια ( για $2.99 το ένα) και τα μεταμόρφωσε σε ρομαντικά φωτιστικά. Δείτε τις οδηγίες εδώ ( το μόνο πρόβλημα είναι ότι θα χρειαστείτε τη βοήθεια του Google translate)

House tour : Contemporary meets Classic in London

Happy Saturday! This is a theme post and the theme is 'London'.
The time has come to announce to you that I'm moving to London in a few days. 

New life, new beginnings, new tasks. I'm kind of anxious but I really look forward to it. I just need to find a proper apartment first which is going to be a nightmare.  

That's all the news for now, but I'll keep you posted about everything!
This is a dream house in London that combines contemporary with classic design. 

Modern chairs combined perfectly with vintage tables, eclectic mirrors, wood and marble are a few things that create this amazing house puzzle.

I'm not in love with the dining area , I'm OBSESSED with it. 

I imagine myself walking around the house, cooking and singing. 

Ok, Daydreaming is over now. Notice the wallpaper in the living room , it reminds me of the blue porcelain plates wallpaper by Studio Ditte.

Styling Recipe: Blue walls

Today I woke up and felt inspired by blue walls. Maybe blue and brown colors remind me of Autumn and September but the truth is that blue walls can make a room look like it has a life of its own. It's a bold canvas, classy and fabulous , the perfect way to display artwork. This advantages of a  blue wall is that it  can stay naked without anything hanging on it. Σήμερα η μέρα μου έχει χρώμα μπλε.Το μπλε του καλοκαιριού που φεύγει και το μπλε του φθινοπώρου που αργά η γρήγορα θα φτάσει. Αγαπώ αυτό το χρώμα γιατί ενώ είναι ψυχρό με τους σωστούς συνδιασμούς μπορεί να λειτουργήσει σαν έργο τέχνης. Ένας μπλε τοίχος είναι ιδανικός για να κρεμάσετε πίνακες. Μπορεί όμως να σταθεί και μόνος του μέσα στο χώρο, γυμνός , χωρίς τίποτα απολύτως τοποθετημένο επάνω του. Ένας μπλε τοίχος στο σαλόνι σας, στην κρεβατοκάμαρα σας ή στο γραφείο σας θα σταθεί στο ύψος του και θα σας βγάλει στυλιστικά ασπροπρόσωπους. Μήπως έχετε αρχίσει να το σκέφτεστε; Πώς σας φαίνεται;

Light my Tuesday : Diamond Lights

Marilyn Monroe performed "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" and I want to add that they can be an Interior Designer's best friend too. Let me introduce you to Diamond Lights by Eric Therner.

A simple bulb in the shape of a diamond. I absolutely love the packing box.

Κάποτε η Μέριλιν Μονροε έκανε διάσημη τη φράση "Τα διαμάντια είναι ο καλύτερος φίλος της γυναίκας" αλλά ήρθε η στιγμή να προσθέσω ότι τα διαμάντια μπορούν να γίνουν και ο καλύτερος φίλος του Interior Designer. Από πότε ;

House tour : Perivolas Resort on Santorini

I love rain and moody weather but I really admire authentic Greek design.
Remember the last Greek house tour?  It was an amazing villa in Mykonos ,  full of white touches and wooden furniture. Today I'll share with you another famous Greek masterpiece. This is Perivolas Resort on Santorini island. The interior is inspired by Santorini's sunset. Pink and lila details on a white canvas.

Μπορεί να ανήκω σε εκείνη την περίεργη ομάδα ανθρώπων που αγαπάνε το βροχερό γκρίζο καιρό, αλλά ταυτόχρονα θαυμάζω την αυθεντική ελληνική νησιώτικη αρχιτεκτονική  και το αφαιρετική της αισθητική. Θυμάστε το τελευταίο post για μια μαγική villa στη Μύκονο, ένας λευκός οικισμός γεμάτο ξύλινες λεπτομέρειες; Σήμερα θα μοιραστώ μαζί σας άλλο ένα διάσημο ελληνικό δημιούργημα. Αυτό είναι το Perivolas Resort στο νησί της Σαντορίνης. Το εσωτερικό , εμπνευσμένο σίγουρα από το ηλιοβασίλεμα του νησιού , είναι γεμάτο ροζ και μωβ λεπτομέρειες. Λευκός καμβάς , με την τέλεια αναλογία χρωμάτων. Ένα πετυχημένο κοκτέιλ αισθητικής, έτοιμο να σας συνοδεύσει στις διακοπές σας.
