People who live in London long enough will agree with the following: there's no such thing as a quiet weekend. 



The moment Friday arrives and someone from work asks you 'Oh are you doing anything nice this weekend?' 'No, I'll just spend some time at home and relax'. That's the moment you know. It ain't gonna be peaceful. Two weeks ago we headed to Soho for a Saturday walk without really knowing where we were going (I call these 'adventure dates' just because you leave the house with no plans at all). Soho is one of the best location for 'Adventure dates', you just wonder around, from Greek street to Wardour street and Dean street to Old Compton street  without really looking for anything specific and yet there's always something there waiting for you. A new bar, a new restaurant, unique little boutique shops, Soho will never disappoint a single passing visitor. This time, I've discovered 'Herman Ze German', a germ inside the heart of Soho, that manages to transport you to Germany in just a few seconds.

I can never say no to a well designed restaurant. So I was attracted to Herman ze German like a moth to a flame. When we entered it was exactly what I was expecting: an industrial, minimalistic feeling, with a simple and tasty menu.

We've tried the Currywurst & the Brattwurst. I would recommend both, especially the first one If you love spicy foods like me. Fries are really optional because they have a 'Ladies friendly' option with no carbs at all!

We left Herman ze German feeling full and happy, crossed the door and continued our adventure date with a hot coffee and a little bit of shopping. If you find yourselves around Soho, feeling a bit hungry try Herman, his Wursts are ZE BEST!
