Chair Wednesday : Azul Chair

The Brazilian brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana designed the famous Azul Chair. Things you need to know about this chair :
  • Square shape
  • its metal frame is coated with epoxy powders
  • the seat is hand made in a skilful sequence, weaving 650 metres of special rope with an acrylic core covered in cotton
  • Manufacturer: Edra
  • The chairs attracted much attention during their exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York where they were shown along with the work of the great German lighting designer Ingo Maurer in 1998
Η Azul Chair έχει σχεδιαστεί από τους Βραζιλιάνους αδερφούς Fernando and Humberto Cambana το 1993.
