House tour : Have a very merry Black&White Christmas

Who said that Christmas is only red
Jesper Moller Hansen [furniture designer & carpenter] managed to bring Christmas at his house with natural materials and monochromatic palette .
He made all the decorations in this house by himself.
Please notice that he replaced the actual Christmas tree with some (decorated) branches he found in a forest.

I really think this house looks so festive although it has only black and white in it.
Enjoy!

Layering: How to dress like an Onion.

This post is a request from my girls and it's dedicated from me to my girls.
I used looklet to create Three Outfits to inspire you and help you stay warm and chic.
I decided to name this style Onion Chic.

tip: The key to layering is keeping under-layers close-fitting. This keeps the look from being bulky and increases the comfort factor.

It's [Black] Friday , I'm in love!

Good morning friends , I just wanted to remind you that today is Black Friday!

"Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.
On this day many U.S. retailers open very early, often at 5 a.m., and offer promotional sales to kick off the shopping season. Because Thanksgiving always falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, the day after occurs between the 23rd and the 29th of November.
The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving. Use of the term began by 1966 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation began to be offered: that "Black Friday" indicates the period during which retailers are turning a profit, or "in the black."

If you don't live in the States you should know that many sites celebrate Black Friday with amazing sales online!
Keep your eyes open and shop till you drop*
 Enjoy your shopping

Do you know the name Piet Mondrian? If the answer is no ( although I highly doubt it) , then I bet that you surely know this painting.

Composition with Yellow, Blue and Red by Pjet Modrian.Currently held as part of the Tate Collection.

It's the pattern that made Piet Mondrian so famous.
I started a small research about Mondrian and fashion when I read this post on

Sneak Peek : NYC Rooftops

What do you usually do during a flight?
Do you read a book ?
Listen to some music ?
I can't wait for the time the plane is so close to earth that you can see all the rooftops of the city!
So you can easily imagine how I felt when I bumped into this post.
Excited.

Jwilly's photostream on flickr
gives you a glimpse of what is above the sky-scrapping madness
in New York
.

Ralph Lauren knows how to celebrate.

Now, that's what I call a party.
Ralph Lauren staged a “four-dimensional” light installation on Wednesday night at its flagship locations
in New York and London
to celebrate its 10 year digital innovation.
New Bond Street experienced a so-called fourth dimension show with a series of additional sensory effects,
including sound (music), touch (breezes)
and smell (wafts of the brand’s fragrance collection),
timed in sequence with the show.
Wish I was there.

Enjoy
